Formula to add the GST amount to the base amount:

GST Amount = ( Original Cost * GST% ) / 100

Net price = original cost + GST amount

Formula to remove the GST amount to the base amount:

GST Amount = Original Cost – (Original Cost * (100 / (100 + GST% ) ) )

Net Price = Original Cost – GST Amount
