How to Download Error Report in GSTR 9C?
- Navigate to the GST Portal
Visit the official GST Portal and login with your credentials.
- Go To the Annual Return Section
Scroll through Services → Returns → Annual Return and select the financial year for GSTR 9C filing.
- Go to GSTR 9C Offline Tool
Under GSTR 9C, you will find a tab, click on “Prepare Offline.”
- Upload JSON File
Now, upload the JSON file you have generated from the offline tool.
- File is Being Processed
Wait until the portal is processing the uploaded file and refresh the page after a while.
- Check Upload Status
Once the process is complete, you will see one of the two messages below displayed on your screen.
- Processed With Errors
- Processed Successfully
- Download the Error Report
Click “Download Error Report” and upload the status. You will see a zip file downloaded on your system, which has GSTR 9C JSON File Error details.
