Overview
We are seeking a Senior MERN Stack Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with expertise in API development, cloud deployments, and performance optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative, high-performance applications.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for seamless frontend-backend integration.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability using best coding practices.
- Lead code reviews, provide mentorship, and ensure code quality through unit testing and best practices.
- Manage database design and query optimization using MongoDB and other NoSQL/SQL databases.
- Implement authentication & authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, Passport.js).
- Work with DevOps teams to deploy and manage applications on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, frameworks, and tools in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Experience with React Hooks, Context API, Redux, and component-based architecture.
- Expertise in backend API development using Express.js/Nest.js and integrating third-party services.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL for data modeling and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments.
- Understanding of micro services architecture and event-driven systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis).
- Experience with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, role-based access control).
- Proficiency in unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
