The Additional Service Charge with Tax feature allows you to add extra service-related charges to a sales invoice. These charges are calculated with applicable taxes and are also displayed on the invoice print, ensuring accurate billing and transparency.
Using this feature, you can:
- Add additional service charges with tax.
- Create new service charges directly from the invoice page.
- Apply multiple service charges to a single invoice.
- Display service charges and taxes on the invoice print.

How to Add Additional Service Charges with Tax
Step 1: Open the Sales Invoice Page
- Go to the Sales module from the left sidebar.
- Click on Sales Invoice.
- Click Create Invoice or press Alt + N.
- Enter the required customer and item details.
Step 2: Add a Service Charge
- Scroll to the Summary section of the invoice.
- Click on the + Add service charge with tax option.
- Select the required service from the service dropdown list.

Step 3: Create a New Service Charge (Optional)
- Click on the service dropdown list.
- Select + Create New.
- A sidebar will open for creating a new service.
- Enter all required service details.
- Click Save.

Step 4: Use the Created Service
- After saving, the service will be added to the service list.
- Select the newly created service while preparing the invoice.
- Repeat the process if you want to add multiple service charges.
Important Notes
- Additional service charges are taxable and included in invoice calculations.
- Newly created services remain available for future invoices.
- Multiple service charges can be added to a single invoice.
- Service charges and applicable taxes are displayed on the invoice print.
Result
The selected service charges are successfully added to the sales invoice with applicable taxes and are reflected in both invoice calculations and printed invoices.
