The Journal Register report in Munim Accounting shows a complete list of journal voucher entries recorded within the selected financial year. This report is useful for reviewing manual entries like adjustments, opening balances, or internal transfers that do not involve cash or bank transactions.
Locate to Journal Register
- Click on Reports from the left-side menu.
- Under the General Report section, click on Journal Register.

Journal Register Report:

The Journal Register table contains the following columns:
Column | Description |

Date | The date when the journal entry was recorded. |
Doc. No. | Document number for the journal voucher (clickable to view details). |
Particulars | Debit and credit ledger details (e.g., By Rahul, To TDS Receivable). |
Narration | Optional note or explanation about the entry added while creating a transaction. |
Dr. (₹) | Amount debited in the entry. |
Cr. (₹) | Amount credited in the entry. |
At the bottom of the table, the Grand Total of all debit and credit amounts is displayed.
Filter and Export Options
- You can apply filters using the More Filter button to narrow the data by ledger, date range, or amount.
- Use the Selected Financial Year dropdown to choose which year’s journal entries to view.
- Click the Export button to download the report in Excel or PDF format.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Every journal entry should be balanced (total debit must equal total credit).
- Clicking on the document number (e.g., JV0005) will take you to the journal entry voucher for review or editing.
- If narration is entered, it helps explain the entry’s purpose for future reference or audits.

- Recording adjustment entries at the end of the financial year.
- Tracking non-cash transactions like depreciation or internal allocations.
