The API Session allows Munim to securely communicate with the GST Portal for GST-related activities such as return filing and data synchronisation. You can enable or disable API access directly from the GST Portal and choose how long the session should remain active.
Why Use This Feature?
- Enable Munim to access GST services securely.
- Choose the API session validity (6 Hours, 12 Hours, 7 Days, or 30 Days).
- Disable API access whenever required for security purposes.
Activate or Deactivate an API Session
Step 1: Log in to the GST Portal
- Open the GST Portal and log in using your GST credentials.
- Click My Profile from the profile menu.

Step 2: Open Manage API Access
Under the Quick Links section, click Manage API Access.

Step 3: Enable or Disable API Access
- On the Manage API Access page:
- Select Yes to activate the API session.
- Select No to deactivate the API session.

Step 4: Select Session Duration
If Yes is selected:
- Open the Duration drop-down.
- Select the required session validity:
- 6 Hours
- 12 Hours
- 7 Days
- 30 Days

Step 5: Confirm the Settings
Click Confirm to save your selection.

Important Notes
- API access must be enabled before using GST services that require authentication in Munim.
- Once the selected duration expires, you must activate the API session again from the GST Portal.
- Selecting No immediately disables API access for connected applications.
